This site is dedicated to a retrospective (retroactive) view of Lyrical Abstraction and Abstract Illusionism , which loosely groups together a number of painters who emerged in the late sixties with much fanfare, but since then seem to have "fallen through a crack" in the art world fashion salons.
Fullerton College in Orange County, California has one of Don's paintings in its permanent collection.
A search on the L.A. County Museum's site yields the following record:

Robert Berman's Galleries in Santa Monica currently houses and has available for sale some of Don Sorenson's work.
